Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and a compact or OK RN license.
Requirements
Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required at time of consideration
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Responsibilities
Medical Surgical unit setting within a hospital
Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Patient ratio of 1:5
Uses EPIC EMR
Weekend hours required as needed by facility
Call requirements as needed by facility
Floating required as needed
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for care provided
Evaluates effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers
Coordinates patient care with other departments
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information
Performs duties consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards
Black scrub color required
Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate if residing within 50 miles of the facility
Candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
