Job description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN in Eastern Montana requiring 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience and ONS certification.
Requirements
Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand
2 years of chemotherapy administration experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required
Responsibilities
Work in the Infusion area of a cancer care center providing outpatient chemotherapy services
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
No holiday coverage required
Uses EPIC EMR system
Provide professional oncology nursing care as part of the cancer care team
Assess patient health history and address physician orders
Perform in-office procedures and chemotherapy administration
Educate patients and families and manage cancer-related symptoms
Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being through frequent visits
Serve as primary communication link between patients and physicians
Apply clinical judgment and decision-making to triage and manage patient care needs
