Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2 years of experience and a valid IA or compact RN license.
Requirements
Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
BSN required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
Responsibilities
Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit
12-hour day shifts with rotating every other weekend and holiday coverage
36 guaranteed hours per week
No on-call or call-back responsibilities
Uses a computerized charting system other than standard EMR platforms
Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting
Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
Holiday coverage required as part of the every-other-weekend rotation
Local candidates accepted at an adjusted rate
Must reside within an 80-mile radius or accept the local adjusted bill rate
