Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel contract at a critical access facility, requiring ortho experience and willingness to care for pediatric patients.
Requirements
Active MN RN license required, must be in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Prior ortho experience required
Med/Surg nursing experience required
Responsibilities
Med/Surg unit at a critical access hospital facility
Will also work in the ICU as needed
Patient ratio of 1:4
Cares for pediatric patients in addition to adult Med/Surg patients
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
No on-call requirements
Provide nursing care across Med/Surg and ICU settings as needed
No prior permanent employees of Avera or Sanford Health systems allowed
Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not permitted
