Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical unit on night shift, requiring an active MA RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
Orthopedic surgical care experience strongly preferred
Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start
Responsibilities
Adult/Pediatric Medical-Surgical and Joint Center unit
13-week contract assignment
Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
Uses Epic for charting
Coordinate care for a group of patients including direct care and supervision of LPNs and nonprofessional staff
Responsible for full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery
Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
