Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with a current AL or compact license and at least 1 year of experience for a night shift hospital assignment.
Requirements
Active AL or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required
Proficiency with cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone required
Responsibilities
Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
Adult and geriatric patient population
Patient ratios of up to 1:6-7
Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) based on traveler preference
Block scheduling available
Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit
Must reside outside a 90-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
No local candidates accepted
Candidates with prior permanent employment at the facility within the last 10 years are not eligible
