Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift position in Arizona requiring an active AZ or compact RN license and prior telemetry experience.
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
Step down experience preferred but not required
Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
Responsibilities
Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Observation unit setting
Day shift schedule 7a-7p with set hours
May be offered optional call shifts during low census periods alongside full-time staff
Med-Surg/OBS ratio of 1:6 and Step Down ratio of 1:4
Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication system
No holiday coverage required
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Med-Surg/Telemetry environment
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract without guaranteed hours applying
RTO limited to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be considered
