Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring Critical Access Hospital experience and a WA or compact RN license.
Requirements
Active WA or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Critical Access Hospital experience required
Cerner charting system experience preferred
Community hospital experience preferred
Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy, including starting and maintaining IVs preferred
Responsibilities
Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
Floating required as needed within scope
Patient ratio of 1:3
No call requirements
Provide telemetry nursing care within a Med/Surg unit
Local candidates accepted
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Previous staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
