Job description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active NV RN license and at least one year of recent travel nursing experience.
Requirements
Active NV RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the Med/Surg Tele specialty
Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required
AHA-issued certifications required
CPI certification required for Behavioral/Psych patients
Responsibilities
Med/Surg Tele unit (Sierra 1) within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule over a 13-week assignment
No blocked scheduling permitted
Uses Epic EMR with training provided during orientation or test-out option available
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
Minimum coverage of 2 major holidays required
RTO must be submitted with initial application and cannot be added at the end of the contract
Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after completing a prior contract at this facility
First-time travelers are welcome to apply if licensure requirements are met
