Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.
Requirements
Active RN license issued by the State of California
BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required within six months of hire
Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
CCRN certification encouraged
No prior adverse actions on license accepted for consideration
Responsibilities
Work in the Medical ICU unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 1800 to 0630
No on-call requirements
Requires EPIC experience
Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the ICU patient population
Maintain quality, efficient, and safe standards of care consistent with unit protocols
Demonstrate flexibility with changing systems and professional conduct with staff, physicians, and patients
Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
Comply with facility vaccination requirements as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
