Job description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS certification.
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
BLS certification from an approved vendor required
ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
PALS certification (AHA or ARC) required
BSN preferred
Acute care facility experience preferred
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
Responsibilities
Medical ICU unit within an acute care hospital
Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
Auto-offer of 36 or 48 hours per week
EPIC EMR experience required
Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process
Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needsDevelop and implement care plans, evaluate patient outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
Required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
