Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification.
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; TNCC preferred
1 year of ICU experience preferred
Minimum 3 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
BSN preferred
Acute care facility experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience required
Responsibilities
Medical ICU unit setting
Night shift schedule, 48 hours per week, 4x12s )
Limited call requirements due to low census, may float to ER to avoid call
EPIC EMR experience required
Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and humane care
Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care
Provides patient and family education as part of care delivery
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
Candidates with a prior hit on license will not be considered
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
