Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Special Newborn Nursery RN for a night shift contract requiring NICU Level 2 experience and NRP certification.
Requirements
Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
BSN not required
Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
STABLE certification required
2+ years of SCN/NICU Level 2 experience preferred
Responsibilities
Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) with 8 beds in an acute care hospital setting
Level 3 trauma facility with approximately 800 births per year
24/7 NNP and Neonatology coverage available
12-hour night shifts with rotating start times , )
36 guaranteed hours per week
Uses Allscripts EMR
Provide nursing care to newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery setting
8-hour orientation provided
Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
