Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Ambulatory Care position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.
Requirements
Active NJ or compact RN license required
BSN required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
Experience with ambulatory workflows preferred
Prior charge nurse experience preferred
Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration
Responsibilities
Ambulatory Care setting within a Family Care clinic and Triage department
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No floating required
No weekend or holiday requirements
No on-call responsibilities
Charting completed in Epic
Navy blue scrubs required
Provide care across a broad range of ambulatory and triage services including medication administration, specimen collection, wound care, and patient assessments
Perform telephone triage, follow-up calls, and patient teaching as part of daily responsibilities
Assist with minor procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, and nebulizer treatments
Support pediatric and adult patient populations with various acute and chronic conditions
Local candidates accepted at a differential rate within a 50-mile radius
Submit requested time off (RTO) at the time of consideration, as RTO requests after submission cannot be accommodated
First-time travelers are not required for this role
