Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring general OR and trauma experience.
Requirements
Active MI RN license required
Current BLS and CAC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
General OR and Trauma experience required
Epic EMR experience required
2 supervisory references required (charge references not accepted)
Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions; allergy-free option available if allergic
Responsibilities
Work in the Operating Room department of a Level 1 Trauma Center
Primarily adult patient population
Day/evening rotating shifts (7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p) or straight evenings, 3x12-hour schedule
Weekend and weeknight call required in 8-hour blocks (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a)
Up to 4 weeknight calls and 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
No floating required
Level 1 Trauma Center environment
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates cannot apply if previously employed by any of the client facilities within the last 12 months
