Description
American Traveler is seeking a CVOR RN with at least 2 years of CVOR experience to scrub and/or circulate complex cardiovascular procedures on a 4x10 day-shift schedule.
Details
Work in a 26-suite, high-tech OR performing both inpatient and outpatient procedures
Treat patients across the lifespan, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
OR services include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, and cardiac/thoracic surgery
Must be competent scrubbing and/or circulating CABG, MVR/AVR/TVR, robotic MVR/AVR, aortic dissections, aneurysm repairs, root replacements, TAVRs, and laser lead extractions
Heart transplants are not performed at this facility
Schedule consists of 4, 10-hour day shifts
Call coverage is a 2-person team with 1-2 call nights per week and 1 call weekend per month
May be required to float to the MOR during periods of low CVOR census
Requirements
Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
BLS certification mandatory
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required prior to starting
Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
Skill set for floating to MOR preferred
Additional Information
Scrub and/or circulate for a wide range of complex cardiovascular procedures
Work alongside a dedicated 2-person call team
No local candidates allowed; must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
