Job description
American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring Epic experience and participation in call shifts.
Requirements
Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience required
ASN required, BSN preferred
Epic EMR charting experience required
No pending license allowed
Responsibilities
Operating Room unit performing cardiovascular procedures
10-hour day shifts, , no set day off
CVOR RN will work in the CVOR and/or main ORs
Required to work 21 CVOR call shifts within a 9-week schedule
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for surgical patients
Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abides by service behavior standards
Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
