Job description
American Traveler is seeking a CVOR RN with an active MI license, 2+ years of CVOR experience, and Epic proficiency for a teaching hospital assignment.
Requirements
Active MI RN license required
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (CNOR preferred)
Epic EMR experience required
Experience in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings required
Orthopedic and Neurosurgery experience required
Trauma Level II experience preferred
1:1 patient ratio experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Prior gap-free work history documentation required for consideration
Responsibilities
CVOR unit within an acute care teaching hospital setting
Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8s also considered)
On-call required 2-3 days per week
Floating to the main OR as needed within scope of practice
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required
Uses Epic EMR
Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of cardiovascular, vascular, orthopedic, neurological, and general surgical procedures
Level II Trauma teaching hospital environment
Free parking provided on-site
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
RTO must be submitted at the time of profile submission
