Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulating experience in heavy Ortho/Urology/Spine/Robotic procedures for a 13-week Days assignment requiring an active IL RN license.
Requirements
Active IL RN license required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Verified circulating experience required prior to consideration
Responsibilities
Operating Room setting within a hospital
10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, scheduled
Heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine, and Robotic surgical procedures
Must be able to independently circulate in the OR
Call required including 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month, potentially more based on department need
May float to other facilities as needed
Assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Provide patient and family education and instructions
Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Participate in continuing education
Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
