Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulating and endoscopy experience for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment in North Adams, MA.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required in hand at time of profile upload; compact licenses not accepted
BLS certification (AHA) required
Minimum 3 years of current OR circulating experience required
Endoscopy experience required
Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgical specialties required
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
Must have reliable personal transportation
Skills checklist for OR/Circulate current within 1 year required
One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
Responsibilities
Operating Room unit within a teaching hospital setting
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Float and precept to both the main hospital and an affiliated surgery center as needed
No weekend requirements, though holiday coverage may be required if needed
No on-call responsibilities
Precepting responsibilities included as part of role
Facility provides scrubs
8 hours of non-billable orientation required
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
All scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as accommodations after offer will not be approved
Traveler must not prefer block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations
