Job description
American Traveler is hiring an OR RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active MA RN license and call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
Primary source verification of license and certifications required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Responsibilities
Surgical Services department in a hospital setting
13-week assignment with a day shift schedule (5x8-hour shifts)
Variable start times required
On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays
Uses Epic for EMR charting
Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
No RTO permitted during the assignment
Shared housing arrangements available; no pets or guests allowed
Car required for transportation
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rate
Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid public parking (approximately $17-$22 daily) required at Boston locations
Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
