Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room/Circulating nurse requiring an active AK RN license and 3+ years of OR experience.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted AK RN license required at time of submission
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Responsibilities
Works in the Operating Room handling elective and emergency surgical cases including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedic, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
13-week assignment with 4/10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday
On-call coverage required on a 1/3 rotating share basis, covering nights, holidays, and weekends
Efficiently multi-tasks to ensure surgical cases proceed in a timely manner throughout the day
Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or rural Operating Room settings strongly preferred
Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after fingerprint cards are processed
