Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with alternating 10/12-hour shifts including call.
Requirements
Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
Experience in PACU and ENDO preferred
Responsibilities
Work in the Recovery Room within Surgical Services
Alternating weekly 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, starting at 0645
4x10s totaling 40 hrs/week with a 30-minute meal break
On-call responsibilities required
PACU and ENDO experience preferred
Provide nursing care to the general PACU patient population
Function as a clinically competent practitioner delivering post-anesthesia recovery care
