Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and dysrhythmia certification along with pediatric and GYN patient care experience.
Requirements
Active RN license, VT or compact required upon acceptance (any state license accepted initially)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Dysrhythmia testing required
Experience caring for pediatric and GYN patients required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital setting
Primary patient population is general PACU, with pediatric and GYN cases also encountered
10-hour rotating day/evening shifts, 40 hours per week
No floating or charge responsibilities required
Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to a variety of surgical patients
Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
Schedule requests are approved at the manager's discretion
A personal vehicle is encouraged as public transportation is not easily accessible
Local candidates are not accepted for this position
