Job description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric ICU RN for a mixed acuity Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit, with APHON certification and Beacon EMR experience required.
Job Details
• Mixed acuity pediatric unit serving patients from birth through 18 years of age across all pediatric specialties,
• 19-bed unit with approximately 30% of admissions being Hematology/Oncology patients,
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1, with at least 2 APHON-certified RNs staffed per shift,
• Day/Night rotation or Nights Only schedule, 36 hours per week,
• Uses the Beacon EMR platform,
Job Requirements
• Active NH or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS certification required,
• APHON certification required,
• Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma setting,
• Extensive experience caring for pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients, including familiarity with all pediatric cancers and therapies,
• Experience with the Beacon EMR platform required,
• Two references from managers required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• Unit supports all specialties within a children's hospital setting
