Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring servo vent, intubation, and sedation experience at a Level II trauma pediatric hospital.
Details
Work in a 32-bed PICU within a large pediatric hospital setting
Patient ratios of 1:2 across day, night, and weekend shifts
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Every other weekend required
Float required, with travelers prioritized to float first, typically to NICU or CCU but potentially to Med/Surg
Cares for typical medical/surgical ICU patients who are non-cardiac, including respiratory, trauma, and neuro cases
Requirements
Active Nebraska RN license or RN Compact license required
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Current PALS certification required
Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Pediatric patient care experience required
Level II trauma experience required
Large pediatric hospital experience required
Servo vent, intubation, and sedation experience required
Epic experience preferred
CPN or CCRN certification preferred
