About This Role
The Travel RN Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER) position involves providing comprehensive care for patients in an emergency setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for a dynamic work environment.

What You'll Do
Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition.
Assess level of pain and pain management.
Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
Elicit perception of medical/nursing care from patients.
Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
Identify actual/potential patient problems.
Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
Implement the plan of care and maintain patient safety.
Requirements
Education
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.
Licenses & Certifications
Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
