Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 9, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 3 Trauma center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior OR experience. Details Operating Room unit within a 154-bed hospital Facility serves as a Level 3 Trauma Center and Level 1 NICU Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Every other weekend required 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand Minimum 2 years of experience required AHA certifications required Active Nursys licensure at time of consideration Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity surgical environment Facility is Joint Commission Accredited as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and an Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center Recognized among the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes Weekly orientation held on Mondays Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during the assignment American Traveler Job ID P- .
