Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring MI licensure and at least 2 years of telemetry experience.
Requirements
Active MI RN license required
Active BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required, Prevention First required for Telemetry
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
Cerner EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
Driver's license required for consideration
Date of birth required for consideration
Social Security number required for consideration (full SSN preferred, last 4 acceptable)
Responsibilities
Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
Standard 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed weekly hours
Uses Cerner EMR
Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not offered
Provide telemetry nursing care within an acute hospital setting
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
Local candidates may be considered depending on market, contingent on Account Manager approval
RTO requests should be kept to less than 7 days
Returning permanent employees must obtain MSP approval prior to consideration
Change of staffing agency representation is not permitted for this facility
