Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring 2 years of experience and MD or compact RN licensure.
Requirements
Active RN license (Maryland state or Compact) required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience required
Responsibilities
Fast-paced, high-volume Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with multiple, complex diagnoses
Patient ratio of 1:5, up to 1:6 with lower acuity patients
Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
Every other weekend required (4 weekends in a schedule)
Floating required within specialty and like units of equal or lesser acuity, including to a sister facility as needed
No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
Uses EPIC EMR system
Royal Blue scrubs required
Holiday coverage required as scheduled
All RTO must be submitted at time of offer; RTO not accepted during fall/winter holiday weeks
