Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN in Kansas City, MO for a 12-hour night shift position requiring 2+ years of tele experience and a MO or compact RN license.
Requirements
Active RN license (MO or Compact) required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
1+ years of Medical-Surgical experience preferred
New graduates will not be considered for this position
Occupational Health appointment required upon offer acceptance, including drug screen, TB test, and physical
Responsibilities
Telemetry unit setting in a hospital environment
12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on variable days of the week
Both 36-hour and 48-hour scheduling options available
Required to work four weekend shifts per six-week schedule block
No on-call responsibilities
Floating required as needed, including to Medical-Surgical units
Provide telemetry nursing care within a hospital setting
Must attend all scheduled orientation dates
Holiday coverage expected on an as-needed basis with willingness to help
Willingness to float to other units, including Medical-Surgical, is expected
