Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring KS or compact RN license and at least one year of hospital telemetry experience.
Requirements
Active KS or compact RN license required
BLS certification required
Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting required
Responsibilities
General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
12-hour night shifts,
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients
Nicotine-free facility
Must attend in-person NEO orientation Monday and Tuesday of start week, DON training Wednesday and Thursday, and virtual Epic training Friday
Holiday coverage required based on unit needs; must work two major holidays, choosing from Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day
Accepts local and travel candidates at the same bill rate
