Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift cardiac care position requiring active tele and cardiac nursing experience.
Requirements
Active NC or compact RN license required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience required
Responsibilities
Telemetry unit functioning primarily as a medsurg/medtele overflow unit with some cardiac patients
Patient population includes stable chest pain rule-outs, A-Fib with RVR, CHF, and stroke rule-out patients
Occasionally manages Cardizem (max rate of 15) and amiodarone drips
5-6 patient ratio
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a
Candidates will float within the hospital
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

No radius restrictions
RTO must be listed on application and approved prior to confirmation
Background policy does not permit DUI or DWI within the past year; other findings reviewed case by case
Former staff must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible for consideration
