Job description
American Traveler is hiring a PCU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and PALS certification.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted CO or compact RN license required
Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification (may be obtained upon hire)
PALS certification required
Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required
Responsibilities
Patient Care Unit setting within a rural Critical Access Hospital
Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
13-week assignment length
Serve as the primary nurse providing care within an interdisciplinary team
Must be physically able to safely function in a high-altitude, low-oxygen environment (8,000 ft elevation)
No RTO accepted during the assignment
Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, which is limited and costly in the surrounding area
