Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and an active NH or compact RN license.
Requirements
Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
BLS and ACLS certifications required
2+ years of PCU/Stepdown specialty experience required
Documented travel nursing experience required
NURSYS report and license verification for all active RN licenses required
3 professional references required once committed, with 2 from leadership
Responsibilities
Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown setting within a hospital
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
No on-call requirements
May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin
Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
Deliver progressive care/stepdown nursing to patients requiring close monitoring
Weekly orientation provided
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius, which qualifies for the local rate
Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
