Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position on an acuity-adaptable brain/spine unit requiring night shifts and at least 2 years of experience.
Requirements
Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Responsibilities
Work in the Progressive Care Unit of a hospital environment
Acuity-adaptable brain/spine patient population
Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
13-week assignment length
Provide nursing care to acuity-adaptable brain/spine patients
Longer contract lengths available for candidates starting in September, ranging from 13-16 weeks
COVID vaccination is not required
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
Candidates should begin discussing contract extensions with their manager about 45 days before the assignment end date
