Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit night shift assignment, requiring an active MI RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Requirements
Active MI RN license required, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience required
BSN not required
Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels
Responsibilities
Work in the Medical Acute Stepdown unit of an acute care hospital
Uses EPIC EMR system
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
13-week assignment length
12 hours of non-billable orientation required
Provide direct patient care within a stepdown/acute medical setting
Call-off policy allows the equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty
COVID vaccination is not required
Local candidates are welcome to apply, with a separate local rate applying to those within 50 miles of the facility
