Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a night shift role requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and an active MI RN license.
Details
Work in the Telemetry unit of an acute care teaching hospital
Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45pm-7:15am)
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
No floating required outside of scope
Uses Epic for documentation
Requirements
Active MI RN license required
Current BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele or Telemetry experience required
Epic charting experience required
Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Experience with IV therapy, central and peripheral line care preferred
Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) preferred
Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy management preferred
Wound care/wound vac experience preferred
Experience with post-MI and pre/post cardiac cath patients preferred
Renal failure patient care experience preferred
Additional Information
Teaching hospital with Level II adult trauma designation
Provide telemetry-based nursing care including on-unit and remote monitoring
Participate in rapid response and code team activations as needed
Scrub color requirement: royal blue or white
Free on-site parking available
