Travel School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Monterey, CA (Travel Opportunity)
Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based | Academic Year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, School Hours

About the Role

As a Travel School-Based Occupational Therapist, you'll help students develop the functional, motor, and sensory skills they need to participate successfully in the classroom and throughout their daily school routines. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators and related service providers dedicated to student success.

Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Support students with fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, visual-motor integration, and classroom participation.
Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations as appropriate.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable) in accordance with district and state requirements.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning.
Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Active California OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure before the assignment begins.
NBCOT certification.
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
