Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid CI (Cognitive Impairment) teaching certification
Preferred experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), crisis management, and alternative augmentative communication (AAC)
Familiarity with supporting significant self-regulation and complex communication needs
Experience working with elementary students is highly valued
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a CI teacher within an ASD program context
Deliver individualized instruction for students with cognitive impairments and significant challenges in self-regulation and communication
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team
Employ crisis management and AAC strategies as needed
Engage positively with students, staff, and families
