Special Education Teacher Job Details:

* * Bachelor's degree or higher
* Must hold active state teaching certification with Special Education Endorsement issued by DOE
* Must have experience with IEPs
* Responsibilities:
* * Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
* Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
* Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
* Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches accordingly
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
* Ensure compliance with all relevant educational policies and legal requirements
* Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities to enhance instructional effectiveness
