n Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Specialty: Acute care
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
Weekend Hours: 8
Call Requirements: None
n Qualifications:
n Required Certifications: Licensed CCC-SLP in ME, BLS
Years of Experience: 1 year in acute care/critical care setting
Preferred Skills: Experience in acute rehab, modified barium swallow studies required
n Patient Population:
n Adult and geriatric patients
n Common Responsibilities:
n Conduct swallow assessments and modified barium swallow studies
Provide therapy for cognition, language, and voice disorders
Collaborate effectively with a team of 1-2 other full-time SLPs and 1-2 PRN SLPs
n Additional Information:
n Unit Profile: Acute Care
Float Requirements: May need to cover acute rehab intermittently
Personality Fit: Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment
