Job Summary
nSpeech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) Waco, TX. This position involves planning and delivering speech language pathology services, including evaluation, treatment, and education programs, aimed at restoring speech, language, and swallowing functions for patients within an inpatient setting. The role ensures effective communication and high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

nnCertification/Degree Requirements: BLS (AHA Only), TX SLP.
nEducation Requirements: Qualification includes licensed speech-language pathologist credentials.
nMinimum Experience (Years): 0 years required.
nLocation: Waco, TX.
nSchedule: 5x8s, Monday-Friday, shift.
nMinimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid BLS (AHA Only), TX SLP licensure, and at least 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology.
nAdditional Information: The role involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients as per speech pathology treatment plans. Responsibilities include clinical documentation, billing, effective communication with patients and medical staff, supervision of students or volunteers, and continuous professional development. Supervision follows American Speech Language Hearing Association guidelines. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer use, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
