Job Summary
nSpeech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) Location: Sacramento County, CA. This role involves providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The position requires collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and adherence to all relevant regulations.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: BLS, CA Speech-Language Pathologist License, Valid CA State Drivers License, Auto Insurance
nEducation Requirements: Current CA SLP License
nYears of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
nLocation Requirements: Must have valid CA licensure with Nursys documentation uploaded within the last 2 weeks
nSchedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
nAdditional Responsibilities: Provides patient and family education on signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, psychological abuse; may assist with clinical supervision of assistants and serve as clinical instructor for students
nExperience with Home Health Care, patient and family education, and recognition of abuse signs is preferred
nClinical experience with adult and geriatric patient populations is required
nCandidates must complete all onboarding modules within specified timeframes and provide work history documentation for the past 7 years
nRTO Policy: Max 7 days per contract; holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
nCandidates should prepare to complete all compliance documentation 10 days prior to the start date
