Description American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a skilled nursing facility, requiring TX licensure.
Details Long-term care skilled nursing facility setting
Day shift, 8-hour shifts
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
Compact license accepted
Requirements Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
Valid Texas SLP license required if applicable
License required if applicable
Additional Information Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
Implement communication strategies to help residents be better understood and understand others
Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
Collaborate with facility leadership to manage caseload and communicate any barriers to treatment completion
Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may be subject to review before consideration
