Job description
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy across healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adapt to different facility protocols and clinical environments.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active SLP license as required by state regulations.
ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred/required as applicable.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Previous clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
Willingness to travel and work flexible assignments.
Preferred Skills: Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
Knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability to different healthcare settings.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
