By accepting this travel position, you'll gain:
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain for Louisiana.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFY).
Prior experience in school settings is ideal, but recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district and state guidelines.
Provide guidance and resources to educators and families to support students' communication needs.
Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing training.
