American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a Long Term Care skilled nursing facility, requiring 2+ years of SLP experience and a Texas license.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Valid Texas SLP license required if applicable
Responsibilities
Skilled nursing facility providing long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services
Days shift, 8-hour shifts
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
Compact license accepted
Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and reduce aspiration risk
Design communication treatment plans to help residents better express themselves and understand others
Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
Ensure care aligns with established facility policies and procedures
