Job description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of LTC experience for a skilled nursing facility position.
Requirements
Current TX Speech-Language Pathology license required if applicable
At least 2 years of SLP experience in a long-term care setting
Responsibilities
Long-term care skilled nursing facility setting
Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
Compact license accepted
Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
Design communication strategies to help residents be better understood and better understand others
Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services within the facility
Ensure services comply with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
