We are seeking a skilled professional to provide exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals transitioning from intensive care or requiring specialized intermediate monitoring. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while developing your clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced nursing care to patients in the step-down unit, closely monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and clinical status.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and post-discharge care instructions.
Respond promptly to patient needs and critical changes in condition, utilizing your strong critical thinking skills.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent diploma.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital environment in step-down or intermediate care units.
Valid, current Compact RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
PCCN certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Proven clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
Shift & Schedule:
Night shifts: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Day shifts: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
